Beth Gibbons & Rustin Man – Out Of Season

Original price was: £30.99.Current price is: £24.49.

Out of Season, a studio album by Beth Gibbons (of Portishead) and Paul Webb (known as Rustin Man from Talk Talk), debuted on October 28, 2002, in the UK and on October 7, 2003, in the US.

This folk-leaning album with jazz influences sees Gibbons and Webb drawing inspiration from Nina Simone, Billie Holiday, and Nick Drake, exploring styles beyond Portishead’s trip-hop roots.

The collaboration includes contributions from Adrian Utley (also of Portishead) and Lee Harris (Webb’s former bandmate). The opening track, ‘Mysteries,’ featured in the French film Les Poupées Russes (The Russian Dolls) and Wim Wenders’ Palermo Shooting (2008). The album received a silver certification from the BPI.
