Paradise is Lana Del Rey‘s third EP, released on 9th November 2012, in Australasia and 11th November globally, via Polydor and Interscope. Packaged with the reissue of her album Born to Die as The Paradise Edition, the EP features baroque pop and trip-hop influences with production by Rick Nowels, Justin Parker, and Rick Rubin.
The lead single Ride became a modest hit, with promotional singles “Blue Velvet” and “Burning Desire” supporting its release. Music videos for Ride, Blue Velvet, Bel Air and Burning Desire further promoted the EP.
Paradise debuted at #10 on the US Billboard 200 and achieved international chart success. In 2013, Lana Del Rey released Tropico, a short film featuring songs from the EP, which was later bundled into its own release. Paradise earned a Grammy nomination for Best Pop Vocal Album in 2014.
